Tony Sengmany grew up in Belmont, North Carolina and bleeds Carolina Blue. After high school, Tony attended Bible college where he played basketball all four years, finishing his collegiate career with over 1,500 points. After college, Tony served in youth ministry of a local church in East Tennessee for eight years before moving to Texas in 2016.
Tony has been involved in coaching and officiating every year since finishing college. He also has been a member of the Fort Worth Basketball Officials Association for the last five years. Tony enjoys teaching the rules and fundamentals of the game. His favorite quote for life and basketball is from Coach Don Eddy, “Details make the difference.”
Tony is the youth pastor of Worth Baptist Church in Fort Worth. He and his wife, Rachel, have four children. Their desire is to point young people to Jesus Christ and encourage families. He looks forward to being an assistant in the Texas Express Basketball program.
