Kimberlee Clarke is a proud product of Texas Express Basketball. As an Arlington native, Clarke fell in love with playing basketball as a child, then fell in love with coaching basketball at age 17.
She played AAU basketball for Texas Express and varsity basketball at Martin High School in Arlington, after graduating she played at University of Texas at Dallas and Pacific Union college. Clarke has her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and is currently teaching and coaching high school in Frisco, Texas. She has accumulated almost 10 years of coaching experience with kids from ages 10-18.
“My philosophy as a coach is I want to help create quality young people with integrity and character that also love the game of basketball. I don’t put on a jersey and play anymore in a competitive setting, but I still live by the values that were instilled in me as an athlete. I know that I am a better person because I had the privilege of playing basketball. I want to pay forward all the love and valuable wisdom I received from the coaches I had, I want to push young athletes to grow and better themselves, and I want to teach the physical skills necessary to excel as a competitor.”
When Clarke isn’t teaching or coaching, she is the textbook definition of crazy dog mom. She loves hiking, paddle boarding, and kayaking with her two pups. As she now resides in Dallas, Texas she is very excited to come back home to Texas Express Basketball.
