Coach Demaret played basketball for 3 years with Texas Fire under Marty Murphy before signing with McPherson College in 2014-2015. While there she broke a 20 year record for 10 blocks in a single game as well as (tying) the record of 17 rebounds in one game. Doing this gave Demaret the title of KCAC All-Freshman MVP. After playing in Kansas, she transferred to the University of North Texas in Denton to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
After playing college basketball at the end of 2015, Coach Demaret began coaching alongside Cecil Cannon with Texas Express and continues to do so while finishing school. While she’s not coaching for Texas Express, she is working with Performance Course strength and conditioning camps or at Cooper Fitness in Dallas.
Coaching philosophy based off of the great Pat Summit and Mark Few.
