Coach Tucker has been coaching high school basketball for the past eleven years. She has been involved with select basketball since 2004. She currently teaches AVID III & AVID IV and is the Head Girls’ Softball Coach for Juan Seguin High School in Arlington.
During her time a professional educator/coach, her teams have made it to the state playoffs seven times. Included in these seven playoff appearances, the team made was the first in school history to make it to the Regional Tournament twice.
During a stellar high school carreer, she was a four year varsity letterman in basketball and volleyball, and a two year varsity letterman in track and golf. During her senior campaign at Palo Duro High School in Amarillo, she helped lead her team to its first and only appearance at the State tournament.
Her high school accolades include, All-District, All-Region, and All State honors. After high school, she continued her basketball career as a Divison I athlete.
Coach Tucker takes great pride in helping her student-athletes achieve their dreams. Her ultimate goal is to build positive relationships and unified teams full of individuals that positively contribute to society on and off of the court. She strives to be a “Rainbow in the Clouds” for whomever comes into her presence, especially her student-athletes.
