Gavin Contreras

Gavin Contreras was born in Odessa, TX and comes to Texas Express under Coach Lehman as a statistician and player development coach for the Spring/Summer season. As a player, Gavin holds the freshman team record for most points scored in a game (32) at Boswell High School. His AAU career includes stops at YGC 36, Drive Nation, and Texas Express (playing under Coach Lehman).

Gavin loves to spread the love and art of the game with as many as he can to help future and upcoming players to improve their game. He loves to encourage players to always seek new knowledge and to improve their game everyday to find a love for the sport. Contreras is excited to begin his young coaching career and is greatful for the opportunity to join a staff that he once played for.
