Daniel Perez

Coach Daniel Perez has recently relocated to the Dallas area from San Antonio. Coach Perez (Coach P) played High School basketball at Gateway Christian from 1998-2001 where his team reached two state final fours and a state championship. Coach P spent his college years at Texas Lutheran University from 2001-2005 as part of the men's basketball team. He earned his B.S. as a Kinesiology Specialist.

Since graduating from TLU, Coach P has coached boys high school and college basketball for 10 years. He spent 3 years at New Braunfels Christian where his Varsity team reached the playoffs each year. Coach P also spent 4 years at Schreiner University as the men's head assistant coach where he helped build a 5-20 team to a Conference Tournament contender. Most recently Coach P served as Head Varsity boys basketball coach at Boerne Geneva for 3 years. Geneva won a state championship and a state runner up in that time.

Coach P has been married to Kelsey since 2014 and they have a 6 week old son Mason Cash.

Coach Perez is thrilled about becoming a part of Texas Express Basketball. He is looking forward to helping each player develop to their full potential.
