Coach Wilson is from Paris Texas. Through his experiences as both an athlete and coach he has discovered the amazing opportunities for growth that sports has to offer in young athletes lives.
As a graduate of Denton Guyer High School, coach Wilson began his career in 2009 coaching the menʼs varsity team in spring league. In addition, he gained valuable experience working under Sean Lebauf at Paris Junior College as a women's student assistant. While assisting at Paris, the team advance to the region finals where they eventually lost to the reigning NJCAA champions Trinity Valley Junior College.
After leaving Paris, coach Wilson joined the University of Texas at Arlington as an assistant under current head coach Scott Cross. In addition to his coaching responsibilities at UTA he also worked in AAU with the select club X-factor where his team finished in the top 25 of the Las Vegas, Nevada tournament.
Coach Wilson is passionate about molding the skill set, mental toughness, and work ethic necessary for his atheletes to reach their full potential. He currently works in the feeder program for his alma mater Denton Guyer high school where his team won the 8th grade district championship. Coach Wilson is dedicated to building today's youth into stars of tomorrow. He looks forward to being a part of the Texas Express Family.
