Andre Walker

Andre Walker was born in Inglewood  CA. and played at Inglewood High School.  He was the leading scorer in the state in both his Jr and Sr years.
 After his high school career, he attend St. Marys University in San Antonio where he earned a BA in History. Coach Walker is currently the Head Varsity Boys Coach at The Oakridge School.  With coaching stops at Pantego and Antonian College Prep in San Antonio for 5 years.  As head coach at Anotonian Prep, his team records were 127-52 record and his teams won 4 district titles along with making 3 state final four appearances.

Coach Walker also was the TAPPS All-Star Coach in 2009. TAPPS All-Star Coach 2011. He has been named Conference Coach of the Year 7 times. Texas High School Coach of the Year 2016. While at the Oakridge School, his teams have made 3 final four appearances. Along with One final appearance. In 2021 his team was crowned State Co-Champions with the State tournament being canceled due to CVD-19. Twenty-Two of his ex-players have gone on to play at the College Level. Nine of them were on the Division 1 level. Coach Walker has accumulated over 350 wins in his 15 years as Head Coach on the Varsity level. His teams have made the playoffs 13 out of the 15 years he has been at the helm. Coach Walker has also coached AAU teams with the SA Rowhawks.
